In the heat of one of the deadliest cult war in Benin City, Rave of the moment, Influence Akaba released the video for his street hit “Dodorima“. Maybe timely or timeless but he sues for peace for the now perennial gang war that have snatched young lives in the historical city.
Dodorima means to honesty, straightforwardness, intelligence, hard working in Igbo Language and has become a popular phrase of members of Neo Black Movement, the duly registered association which is affiliated to the Aye/Black Axe confraternity popular in the streets and schools.
“Dodorima” entails praises and adoration given to a particular person based on something he did.
Influence Akaba tries to rework the magic that made “Osamakue” a hit by employing the hands of Philtown once again on “Dodorima” as he appears to connect with every constituent of the Benin demograph.
While Osamakue has garnered over a million views on YouTube, Dodorima might just achieve the same feat.
